Inspiration
We see many people in our lives that are searching endlessly for recipes that are catered to their needs. For example, people on specific diets have a hard time finding certain foods that work with the diet.
What it does
This app has the users create an account and after that, all the personalization comes. There will be a list of recipes given and the user can pick any of the recipes that they want. This app can be used by everyone, either people who are on a specific diet, vegans, or even people just looking for new things to eat.
How I built it
I built it using xcode and certain frameworks that help us make it easier for the ui aspect.
Challenges I ran into
Some challenges we ran into were that we had issues with backend/frontend compatibility, we had difficulty copying API source code(mismatch errors), we had many bugs in swift interface, and there were random grey squares on interface.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud of how our ui looks and the login and sign up page work.
What I learned
I learned that coding can be very time-consuming and things could go wrong at any time, however you just have to work hard to get your code to work.
What's next for FLAVR
We want to get the app fully functional and also add new features that we think will make this app much better.
