Inspiration

The inspiration behind creating Flavour Track was the desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Seeing the challenges faced by underprivileged communities and individuals, we wanted to create a platform that could connect people who have resources to spare with those who are in need of them. We were motivated by the belief that everyone deserves access to basic necessities like clothing, books, food, and financial assistance. By creating Flavour Track, we aimed to provide a convenient and user-friendly solution that empowers individuals to contribute towards helping those less fortunate. It is our hope that through this app, we can foster a sense of community and compassion while addressing some of the most pressing social issues of our time.

This innovative platform enables users to contribute food, books, clothes, and monetary donations to support those who require assistance. How we built it

Flavour Track was built using a combination of powerful technologies: MongoDB, Firebase, and Flutter. These technologies were carefully chosen to ensure a robust and user-friendly app experience. MongoDB was chosen as the database for Flavour Track due to its flexibility and scalability. With MongoDB, Flavour Track can easily handle the dynamic and ever-growing nature of donation-related data, ensuring efficient processing of information. Firebase serves as the backend infrastructure for Flavour Track, providing various features that enhance the app's functionality. It offers services like user authentication, real-time data synchronization, and cloud messaging, enabling a seamless and interactive user experience. Flutter, a cross-platform framework developed by Google, was utilized to build the mobile app interface of Flavour Track. With Flutter, Flavour Track can deliver a consistent and visually appealing user interface across both Android and iOS devices.

The next Option we thought of are about expanding the community to make them aware and help them to donate more opportunistic items including gadgets , toys etc. Looking for the next opportunity to spread a help awareness for creating more developed community and integrating map sdk for pickup systems for more fluetial and smooth operation.
