Inspiration
We were inspired by the difficulty of finding places to eat while travelling.
What it does
This is a website that creates a tier list based on community reviews for restaurants and displays them in a convenient format based on certain filter criteria.
How we built it
We used Javascript and HTML to build the website.
Challenges we ran into
CSS styling was very finicky and we struggled getting things to look right.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of pushing through and seeing this project to its conclusion at our first ever hackathon!
What we learned
We learned a lot about Github, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and the project planning / development process.
What's next for FlavorFinder
We want to implement the Google Maps Places API to get a much larger community dataset!
