Inspiration

The hassle that my family ran into here in Egypt in order to choose a suitable design for any of the rooms in our new flat, was visible to me even as a little child back then. When I grew up, I soon found out that every family in Egypt goes through the same hassle. First they want to choose a good looking style for their new unfurnished home, but they can't know the prices beforehand, specially now that in our country the prices are changing day by day, and it is impossible for a human to keep track of all the changing prices at the same time. I knew now that it would be the best time to offer these people an alternative that would help them.

What it does

FlatVision is a revolutionary startup focused on transforming the home design experience through the application of cutting-edge Generative AI, computer vision, and VR/AR technology. The mobile app enables users to visualize and customize their living spaces with new furniture, electronics, and styles without the need for significant financial investment. By simply mapping their homes using their smartphone's camera, users can explore various virtual generated scenarios, providing them with the flexibility to envision their homes with different styles, furniture, electronics, and wallpapers. The integration of AI into the app allows for precise cost estimation for each design iteration, ensuring that users can make informed decisions aligned with their budgetary constraints. FlatVision's utilization of AI serves as a cornerstone of its offering, enabling the generation of accurate and highly customizable home design scenarios.

What's next for FlatVision

As an AI student here in Cairo, me and my time hope that the we can have the chance to get enough resources and support in order to turn FlatVision into a reality.
