Inspiration
I'm planning on streaming some challenges (gotta get those points), and having a little bot functionality in the stream seems fun!
What it does
Currently, responds to any message of "hello" sent to it with "world", as well as some fun emoji messages.
How we built it
Following a tutorial from Twitch, I set up a simple node.js IRC connection to connect to my Twitch chat.
Challenges we ran into
Hiding the secret information (passwords) from the viewers took some thinking.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Streaming for the first time whilst doing this!
What's next for Hello, Twitch!
Adding more bot functionality :)
