FlashDummies was inspired by a need to make blockchain experimentation accessible, private, and frictionless. In a world where Web3 tools are often complex and gated, we wanted to give developers and learners a simple way to spin up temporary Ethereum wallets without long-term commitment. Our platform lets users instantly create private, self-destructing wallets that vanish after use. It is ideal for testing contracts, simulating DeFi strategies, or learning without the fear of exposing personal data or assets. We built the project using Windsurf for the frontend, Node.js and Express for the backend, and integrated Ethers.js to handle wallet creation and lifecycle logic. One of our biggest challenges was engineering secure, ephemeral wallets that could interact with testnets while remaining lightweight and user-friendly. Despite the technical hurdles, we successfully developed a functioning MVP, tested multiple wallet cycles, and laid the groundwork for future features like flash loan simulations. This project taught us how to balance privacy, usability, and blockchain logic in a meaningful way, and moving forward, we plan to scale FlashDummies into a training ground for future DeFi innovators, expanding to support more chains, deeper simulations, and a cleaner onboarding experience for the next generation of Web3 builders.
