Backstory:

While studying for an important test, I found myself frustrated by the lack of effective flashcard sets available online. None of them quite met my needs, either being too generic or missing key concepts. I realized that instead of wasting more time searching, I could leverage my coding skills to create a solution. That’s when I decided to develop my own AI-powered flashcard generator, designed to create personalized and relevant flashcards that adapt to any subject or learning style. However, building it wasn't so easy since I never built a full-stack SaaS before. I struggled quite a lot with displaying the flashcards correctly after it finished generating. Despite all the shortcomings, what started as a necessity for my studies turned into a full-fledged project for a hackathon, where I could showcase my passion for both learning and technology. The next step for this project is to fine-tune it for the best user experience and launch it globally.

Techology used:

I used Next.js as the framework, MUI to shape the looks, Open AI to generate the flashcards, Clerk for user authentication and Firebase to store the user's saved collection, Stripe to process payment.
