Inspiration

Ethan and I were inspired to do this project because as high school students, there have been multiple times where we wanted to use Quizlet as a study source, but were unable to due to their requirements access certain features.

What it does

Our project allows users to access special features relating to studying/memorizing flashcards that they created to get a better understanding of certain topics such as learning the cards, studying the cards while keeping track of how many they are getting right, adding new cards, deleting cards, and finally editing cards.

How we built it

We used the software eclipse to code our project. We coded in Java IDE for this project.

Challenges we ran into

Starting off, it was hard to think of a project we could make that would fit this hackathon's theme given our limited coding experience. After figuring out what to do, it was pretty smooth for us to complete the project, ignoring the minor problems all coders face while trying to get their project to work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Since this is our first hackathon, we are proud for being able to participate and successfully create some sort of project that we can submit as a final product.

What we learned

We learned many collaboration skills as well as to challenge ourselves to participating in new things, such as this hackathon!

What's next for Flashcards

We hope that as we learn more coding, we are able to add GUI to our code to make it look visually appealing so that someday, we could make a real website/app out of it.
