Inspiration

Making flashcards takes a long time so having someone to do it saves time (important for Nathan, he's a double major so he has lots of work to do and study for)

What it does

Takes notes and generates flashcards to test knowledge

How we built it

Coded in Python, Flask sends and receives data from Microsoft Azure AI, processes data and sends to HTML template

Challenges we ran into

We're both beginners and this is both our first ever project, Nathan had to learn HTML in a day and Patrick had to learn Flask and how to get Microsoft Azure AI to work

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Patrick was happy to finally get the AI to work properly, Nathan made a working

What we learned

Nathan learned a lot of HTML and a little backend development to understand what Patrick was doing, Patrick learned Flask and how to implement AI into project

What's next for Flashcard/Quiz Generator

Will probably implement a database so we can save flashcards and save them per user, and create tailored study plans to prep students for upcoming exams on time
