Infrastructure for navigating the Hederaverse

As hedera maximalists and have been following the ecosystem for more than 3 years now. We realize that the primary driver for navigating the ecosystem is the wallet and the ability of a wallet to enable interaction across platforms. We see a massive opportunity to be the ones to cater to this need and help the ecosystem grow. We started to develop Flash Wallet

A Mobile wallet which supports tokens and NFTs seemlessly

Part of a new class of crypto startups looking to build infrastructure that streamlines blockchain-based applications and provides a more user-friendly UX for navigating the crypto world, something that can make the entire space more approachable to a non-developer audience.

Users can download the Flash wallet to their mobile to interact with applications, collect NFTs and view transaction history. It also enables users to sign in transactions, including smart contract calls.

How we built it

We did a short market survey with 50 very active supporters in the ecosystem, the feedbacks given we included while building the wallet. We also spoke with platforms like HederaStarter, Tangent, StaderLabs and Kpay(Gomint) took requirements from them implemented here and are going to partner with them for the launch.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Hedera SDK: We had various issues running the SDK correctly on our devices due to compatibility issues. We were able to make it work in the end.
  2. Dynamic Sign-in: We implemented a function using QR code and mobile deeplink to connect the dapp with wallet and sign Hedera or all types (including smart contract) of transactions.
  3. NFT MetaData : Inconsistency of standards in which NFTs were minted caused problems in integrating the data.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to build a fully functional version 1 of the product on the mainnet within the given period and enable the major feedback given by developer advocates and community members of the Hedera ecosystem.
