Inspiration Our inspiration was our own educational situation. We wanted a user friendly app that would read answers of quizlet to an alexa.

What it does It originally was designed with the muse headset to monitor brainwaves and run all info stats on alexia.

How we built it We used aws, alexia, and cluadia

Challenges we ran into Muse sdk didn't work, and only one person was proficient in the languages used.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We learned a lot and we're able to get some basic code.

What we learned Learned how to use apis, json, aws

What's next for flash me we are individual going to work on our own chatbot .

In hindsight: we overly constrained our initial thinking to hardware solutions and spent too much time on it, despite not having the hardware we really wanted (at the start had a Muse Headband and a Pebble which we mutually agreed were lacking in utility, i.e. we didn't even have an Echo, though sim software helps). We also had difficulty coming up with an idea in general - it would be a good idea to look into methods to boost creativity in the future. We spent too much time at various lectures. We actually started learning stuff too late in the night to be productive, even fueled by caffeine. Most of us were new to JS entirely, so it was a stretch to go after something we would probably have difficulty implementing in Java (ignoring the benefits of JS on this subject). We should've done more research and found Alexa SDK earlier- if we started with that, we could've finished on time. We also made a mistake in scrapping the project we had up to that point (separate git repository). All in all, I think we're all beginner hackers here, so we'll treat it as a learning experience.
