What is Flash?

Flash is a product that is intended to make its users lives more streamlined by providing them with a tool that they can use to track how they spend time relative to how they want to spend their time. There are 3 main features: set time goals, log how you actually spend your time, and then reflect with a visualization of how you spent your time versus how you want to spend your time. Anybody can use our product for free, but if you want to get rid of pesky ads there is a premium option available.

Our tech stack

Flash was developed through the React framework with Javascript, HTML, and CSS working in the front end and Javascript in the backend. We are using a MySQL database hosted on the google cloud platform to handle user authentication and store user data paired with NodeJS to access it. Travis CI is used for continuous integration testing, Nightwatch.js is used for automatic UI testing, and React's native testing libraries for unit tests.
