Inspiration

The spark for Flashback came from a desire to make history feel more vivid, relatable, and alive. Major events that shaped our world occurred on ordinary days, often going unnoticed or forgotten with the passage of time. By rediscovering and spotlighting significant moments that happened on a given date, we hope to foster a greater appreciation for the interconnectedness of the past.

What it does

Flashback is an application that allows users to explore historical events that occurred on a particular day and month in different regions around the world. Users can input a month, day, geographical region, and event type (e.g. sports, politics, science, etc.) and Flashback will display major events matching those criteria from previous years.

What's next for Flasback

Will include video generation next once we have LLM ready on that space.
