Flappy Math

Inspiration

Our inspiration was the video game “Flappy Bird”, as it is a very simple but fun children's game. Flappy Bird is also very easy to implement education in which made it the perfect choice.

What it does

It builds children’s mental math skills which is a very important skill. It helps them respond to quick addition questions which is also a very important skill.

How we built it

The language we used to make this was javascript. We used simple x y velocity for the movement and found images for the pipes and bird.

Challenges we ran into

We found it hard to add the 2 slits for the bird to go through.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of making the flappy bird have physics and that it is almost like the real game.

What we learned

We learned a lot about javascript, on how to add physics and how to use math in our code.

What's next for Flappy Math

We are not going to continue this project.
