Inspiration

Increase Financial Literacy (Flanne = Financial + Planner)

What it does

It collects data from users and it shows a financial profile with relevant information, including a retirement plan either using their actual net savings, or the recommended 20% based on the 50/30/20 plan.

How we built it

We built it from the ground up using XCode and swift.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into cache problems and ViewControllers for the application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have a viable product in 24 hours.

What we learned

We learned to better organize our time, allocate resources properly, work remotely, brainstorm better, teamwork, git collaborations, swift updates.

What's next for Flanner

Flanner will connect with a database in order to store the information from the user, make better graphics and more functionalities.

I worked on the backend of the application. Build structs in order to collect data and store it effectively, and made the methods we used to calculate the user's finance.

I worked on the front end and the UI. This included creating all of the views and writing many subclasses for the view controllers and other visual elements. I worked to make a seamless experience for the user to input data and get their results.
