Inspiration

We wanted to help people learn how and what to recycle.

What it does

It scrapes Google and other search engines to display recycling steps easily and accessibly. In addition, you can use the navbar to access other information.

How we built it

Using python and HTML in vs code.

Challenges we ran into

Like always, figuring out the proper ways to access channels for photos and information. Scraping and phrasing direct information is not easy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1. Getting the photos to work.
2. Displaying the data nicely.
3. Creating a working website with an embedded app.

What we learned

We learned that scraping information from the entire web and making it accessible is not as easy a process as we thought.

What's next for FL-Cycler

Making our website more compatible and making the flow of information better.
