I got the idea for FixSpot from a simple frustration: when something in a neighborhood needs fixing, it's not always clear whether anyone has reported it or what happened afterward.

I built FixSpot to make that process easier to follow. People can submit an issue, browse reports, filter the list, check possible duplicates, and follow status updates. It also shows the factors behind a priority suggestion instead of treating a score like an unquestionable decision.

One thing I learned while building it is that a useful tool needs to explain its decisions, not just display information. Duplicate detection is a good example: similar reports should be reviewed, not automatically rejected.
