Inspiration

I was inspired by how frustrating it can be to resolve problems with companies, especially when people do not know how to communicate their concerns effectively or what to do when their first attempt fails. I wanted to make the process easier with AI.

What it does

Fixora is an AI-powered platform that helps users address problems with companies by generating complaint and escalation messages they can review and send, providing guidance on next steps when issues remain unresolved, and teaching users how to handle such situations confidently.

How I Built It

I built Fixora as a web application using Next.js and AI-assisted development tools. I focused on creating a guided workflow that helps users explain their problems, generate messages, review them before sending, and receive guidance on what to do next. I also included a learning feature to help users better understand how to handle disputes with companies.

Challenges I Ran Into

One of my biggest challenges was designing a complete workflow beyond generating complaint messages. I had to consider what happens after users contact a company, how escalation should work, and how to provide useful next steps when their problems remain unresolved.

Accomplishments That I'm Proud Of

I'm proud that I turned my idea into a working web application featuring AI-assisted complaint and escalation message generation, next-step guidance, and a learning feature. I also completed a demonstration video explaining how Fixora works.

What I Learned

I learned that building a useful AI-powered application involves more than generating responses. The workflow, user experience, and relevance of the guidance are equally important. I also learned to break a complex idea into manageable steps and use AI-assisted development tools to bring my vision to life.

What's Next for Fixora

I plan to improve Fixora's guidance and user experience, support more types of company-related problems, expand its educational resources, and explore ways to help users track their progress and understand their options when issues remain unresolved.
