Inspiration :
We had some situations where we need to test the Fix Message and record the evidence. Most of the existing application doesn't provides reports from old dates which older more than 1 months.
What it does:
User can connect to Fix Engine or Fix Simulator using socket connection and send the Fix Messages to create a trade. Once accepted its keep accepting all the messages (Execution Reports) till order gets fully executed.
How I built it :
I used Visual Basic.NET and SQL Server CE to develop this application.
Challenges I ran into:
Fetching the Log files remotely using PUTTY for a particular Unix servers where the Fix Engines resides.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of :
It gives the capability to store the data as much you need no restriction. Option to generate the reports. Option to Clean the whole Database. Option to send the logs in a email. Option to send BULK order like hundreds orders in once. And so many....
