Inspiration

As an avid traveler, choosing my next destination is always a headache-inducing project, with a huge list of pros and cons that get scrapped and redone numerous times. Instead of that, what if your wardrobe could choose your path? You wouldn't need to buy new clothes, although the recommendations would help fill your closet out.

What it does

FitToFly delivers an end-to-end travel experience in five intuitive steps:

• Snap & Upload Your Fit: Upload a selfie, outfit photo, or pick an aesthetic preset.
• AI Climate & Trait Decoding: The LLM inspects the fabric weave, insulation, formality, and color palette to understand the exact climate and vibe of your outfit.
• Dynamic Destination Discovery: Instead of static lists, the AI dynamically picks real global cities that match your outfit's weather profile
• Guaranteed Flight Arbitrage (≤ 40% Budget Cap): FitToFly searches live Google Flights via SerpApi and filters out anything that exceeds 40% of your total budget. This guarantees you have the majority of your funds left over for hotels, fine dining, and experiences.
• Photorealistic YouCam Virtual Fitting Room: Try on local accessories, footwear, or apparel from Google Shopping directly on your photo using Perfect Corp's neural AI try-on engine before booking. ## Challenges I ran into Understanding what users would be looking for, and how to integrate those into this project took some time. ## Accomplishments that I'm proud of Working with the Perfect Corp API was super interesting, and I'm very proud of the result that came through! I'll be using what I learned going forward in future projects and business ventures as well. ## What I learned All of the new tech available with SerpAPI and Perfect Corp are really cool, and learning how to integrate these within a project that expanded and took things to the next step was awesome! I think this is a fun project thats a little silly, but definitely could see use in real markets. ## What's next for FitToFly Improving the response time, and allowing for more starting airports than just the limited departure cities!
