Inspiration

All of us belong to a Southeast Asian country. We have a lot of patients of obesity. Main reason of this is the lack of knowledge. Through our app we want to eradicate this problem.

What it does

It has a built-in dictionary for workout which will teach the user any workout with multimedia (text, image, video tutorial.). User can track their workout and diet schedule. It has a built in BMI calculator which will help the user to get to know their present condition. On the basis of BMI value the user can get a free diet and workout plan. User can share their workout and diet plan just like they share music playlist through Spotify

How we built it

We first discussed about multiple ideas and then landed on one. We then started our discussion on how to materialize our ideas.

Challenges we ran into

We were unable to entirely materialize our thoughts and ideas due to a lack of knowledge and time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We hit upon some really unique ideas and features (ie. fir-tionary, fitshare, fitstream etc) and worked together as a team.

What we learned

As a first timer, we learned how to build a project from scratch as a team. We also learned teamwork, dividing tasks among ourselves as well as learning the version control system for Git Hub. We also learned how to design a user interface for an app. We also learned how to design, make and integrate logos on an app.

What's next for FitStream

integrating online streaming: We plan to make a live streaming service for the app which would function as YouTube. In it, users will be able to live stream different content related to fitness. integrate scoring system: We also plan to connect with different social media providers like Facebook, where we will rank users on a global list as well as a friend list in order to promote competition between themselves. We also plan to improve nutrifit by working with nutritionists and physical therapists in order to provide more healthy meal plans and better workout plans. Connecting with google cloud system by integrating it to our app
