Inspiration: I wanted to participate in my first hackathon and learn how to build user interfaces for TV screens, specifically focusing on the fitness category for Amazon Fire TV.
What it does: FitScreen is a simple, lightweight front-end dashboard that displays workout options (Yoga, Cardio, Strength). It simulates the focus state of a TV remote when a user navigates through the options.
How we built it: I built this entirely using web technologies (HTML and CSS) to ensure it is fast and compatible with Fire OS and Vega OS.
Challenges I ran into: As a beginner, figuring out how to make a webpage look like a TV app rather than a standard desktop site was a fun challenge.
