🏃‍♀️Inspiration

I was inspired by first, one of the themes for this 'hackathon' challenge, "Build a Fitness App". I was also inspired by another hackathon project I made earlier about timing exercise. This website is kind of a pair website to my other one.

⏱What it does

FitnessFinder helps teach people about how much exercise is necessary for the proper ages. Many people don't quite know how much exercise they really need. My website also provides a bunch of exercise links where people could go to if they have no idea where to find workout videos.

💻How we built it

I built FitnessFinder with Bootstrap. I used HTML to code the base and CSS to help shape it. Bootstrap helped me create navbars and tables, which was something I used to hand code.

❗️Challenges we ran into

One challenge I ran into was that my bootstrap link had a typo in it, so it didn't work in the start. It was really annoying, considering I forgot the end character(>), and I just kept changing my code, thinking that was the problem.

🏆Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I managed to complete my website and that it's somewhat working.

🧠What we learned

I learned a lot of things about Bootstrap, including more than just remembering closing tabs...

➡️What's next for FitnessFinder

Next, for FitnessFinder, I'd like to add a log-in page where people could track if they exercised as much as they were supposed to. I also want to add a tracker where people could see how far they ran if they chose to go jogging!
