Inspiration

Fitness is known to have a positive impact on our mental and physical health. However, with our current situation, keeping motivated and on a fresh routine can be difficult. Thus we created this app to assist with that pain point and give weight lifters a starting point for their solo fitness routine.

What it does

The Fitness app creates a simple weightlifting routine based on your weight goals and capability. It does not take gender or age into account allowing users full control of their routine.

How we built it

We Used Swift and Swift UI in Xcode

Challenges we ran into

As first-year programmers, we ran into challenges with translating our ideas and logical operators into code. Furthermore, only two of our four team members have coding experience, limiting the coding power that could be put into building our application in such a short amount of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our ability to build this application in such a short amount of time, especially after being alerted of this hackathon in the final hours that we could register for it.

What we learned

We learned teamwork, leadership and the power of delegation and collaboration.

What's next for Fitness Planner

We hope to pursue further iterations of this app as our programming capacities and understanding of Swift and Swift -UI increases
