We were inspired to do our project on exercise because it is a crucial part of promoting our own well-being, which ultimately affects what we project out to the world. If we feel happy about ourselves, we will be able to radiate happiness that can promote kindness in the world. Another reason why we wanted to do this project was because we wanted to encourage people who are new to working out to get started on their journey to promote their own well-being. It is always hard to get started because of the lack of familiarity with different types of workouts, how to do them and how the different workouts affect their bodies. This work-out generator will generate a set of work-outs for the user, making it one step easier to get started on their journey to self-growth.

As people who are fairly new to web development, we had to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript before the day of the event. Additionally, we had to teach ourselves how to use git and GitHub to render a webpage. It was a learning process throughout the entire project because we had to learn as we go. We ultimately learned that having pre-existing skills and knowledge is important, but the willingness to learn throughout the process will carry us to the end just the same.

We split up the work between different group members. One of our memory is knowledgeable in graphic design, so we had her design our logo, and work on the visual aspects of the website. Some group members worked to develop the front-end of the website and others worked on the functionality of the actual generator.

We ran into a lot of challenges along the way because we had to learn a lot of the skills as we went along. We didn't completely understand syntax for HTML, CSS and JavaScript, so it would take us longer than usual to figure out our errors. Linking the different files together and creating functional buttons were also some of the challenges that we ran into. In the end, we had to adjust a lot of our original plan because we could not get everything to work the way we intended to it to.
