Inspiration

I love tracking my fitness progress, but typing every set between lifts felt like too much. I wanted to talk and have my workout logged, so I created FitMaxxx.

What it does

FitMaxxx turns spoken sets into a workout log you can review before saving. You can create routines by voice and see your progress over time. I also built an MCP integration with a Claude connector setup, giving people another way to ask about their training or prepare a workout log in natural language.

How we built it

I built the iOS app in SwiftUI, with voice transcription that becomes structured, editable workout data. I built the MCP server so AI assistants can access authorized training data and actions, and integrated RevenueCat for premium access.

Challenges we ran into

The hardest part was making voice logging fast while keeping every set accurate and easy to correct. Building a secure connection between an AI assistant and someone’s fitness data was another challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I shipped FitMaxxx to the App Store, created Riko mascot to celebrate progress, and built a path for training data to be useful both in the app and through an AI assistant.

What we learned

A good voice experience needs more than transcription: people need clear feedback and control over what gets saved. The same principle applies when an assistant helps with their data.

What's next for FitMaxx

I’m improving voice logging and progress insights, and finishing end-to-end testing of the Claude connector so it’s easy to use confidently.
