FIT-ME

Inspiration

As a young adult in their 20s, I want to better how I present myself to the world. I have the desire, but I do not have the wisdom to know what colours go with things I already have, how much they cost, where to buy it, what items go together....... and on and on. I like shopping, but I end up with things I like individually, but not a FIT that goes together.

What it does

It does everything I can't do that I mentioned above. It looks at what I have, analyzes the clothing for color, type, texture, stitching, shape, etc. Then it curates an ideal color palette and items that go with it. Once it finds the best things to elevate your piece, it searches online for reliable stores that sell pieces at the budget you set.

How we built it

I built it using react and typescript. Gemini to help with some curating. SerpApi to help finding clothes online

Challenges we ran into

The recommendation part was the most challenging.... but I am proud of the algorithm that runs to provide the best result for the user.
