Fish Care

Inspiration

Our team was inspired by our bad experiences with taking care of fragile aquamarine animals. We all wanted to come up with a solution that is both easily accessible and very informative. Each fish is unique and we want to deliver the best experience to our users.

What it does

Fish Care helps users take good care of their fish friends, by recognizing their type and giving out important information of how to properly take care of them. Moreover, it has a calendar set up that users can personalize according to their fish's needs. It can also calculate aquarium volume and water usage and provide many helpful articles written by professionals sharing their insights.

How we built it

We built this app using Figma platform. We used soft colors inspired by the sea to immerse the user in their experience with Fish Care. We used many interactions to link frames and we incorporated other software such as CorelDraw to create better 3D visualizations.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges we faced is implementing the interactions between the frames.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're especially proud of being able to accomplish our goal effectively through this app and make it user friendly. While promising good experience for the user, Fish Care also shares scientific facts and latest news related to aquamarine life.

What we learned

We explored Figma for the first time and learned how to use most of it's tools including animations! We incorporated Gifs and graphics to make the app more lively.

What's next for Fish Care

We firmly believe that fish care has a promising future in further developing this prototype making people's life easier by providing the proper tools to deliver the best care for our friends, the fish.
