FiscOn: Revolutionizing Tax Systems with Digital Identity - Simplifying Tax Management for Everyone leveraging Digital ID and AI

🌍 Inspiration

In many West African countries, tax systems suffer from inefficiencies, evasion, and accessibility issues. Citizens struggle with complex processes, lack of transparency, and unsecured payment methods. Inspired by these challenges, we envisioned FiscOn—a platform that simplifies tax compliance using digital identity and electronic payments.

🏗️ How We Built It

We designed FiscOn around three core technologies:

MOSIP for secure digital identity management
Open APIs for seamless integration with banks and mobile money providers
AI-powered analytics for fraud detection and tax revenue predictions

Our development follows an agile approach, starting with a prototype and iterating based on feedback. The pilot phase targeted a single city for testing before scaling further.
