Inspiration
What inspired me to make this app was the theme of the hackathon (helping IFSI) and also knowing how many people are very disorganized with their things and life. I thought making an app with different components but come together to help a general idea will help a lot of those.
What it does
This app has 3 parts: a to-do list, a flashcard study part, and a motivational message part. The to-do list is quite simple as you can add things to a list. The flashcard part allows you to study questions/terms with answers and one with no answers. The motivational part of this app has a random generator that'll give you inspiring messages if you are feeling down or unproductive.
How we built it
I built this app with Swift storyboard. I created each part seperately and connected them together at the end.
Challenges we ran into
I wanted the flashcard part of the app to be one section with expandable and collaspable table rows but I kept running into errors and I didn't think I had enough time to figure out how to fix it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am pretty proud of the 3 parts of the app I created in a pretty short amount of time.
What we learned
I learned many new things about Swift by doing this project when I was stuck on a part. I searched up how to fix it watched some tutorials on how to code something.
What's next for FirstlyEducation
I want to add more components to the app such as a quiz and practice section for the flashcard part. I also wanted to try to code collaspable and expandable table rows for my lists.
