Inspiration

Having three kids that are very prone to accidents and choking, I've always carried a silent fear that I would not be ready when emergency hits. What if they choke? What if they drown? What if something happens to them?

This is the reason why I built this app. I want a handy app that can work on any device (PWA) that can assist me in giving first aid to my kids and to anyone else that would need it.

What it does

It's a First Aid assistant that will help you give the proper first aid response.

How we built it

The concept was created with chatgpt, with chatgpt formulating the prompts and the protocol.json file which acts as the decision brain for the app.

The prompt was then pasted into bolt.new, and the protocol.json was uploaded together with it.

Challenges we ran into

The challenge was to deploy it to netlify as it had some issues with the metronome (that thankfully bolt fixed)

It was created in one-shot!

What we learned

Bolt is amazing. I never imagined it to make it this quick.

What's next for Aidmate-Instant

I am creating a v2 that will be voice-enabled, will have ai videos for demonstration and will have an escalated ai assistant for those outside the built-in protocols. Users can log in and include their data so we can have our own analytics, plus we can tailor fit region specific details (emregency numbers,medication, hospitals, etc)

It will also have a premium version where:

1. offline voice
2. b2b that would want to customize the app for their own use - with analytics, cloud backup, training, etc.
