What it does

ICPFinder analyzes your startup idea and instantly generates detailed Ideal Customer Profiles, identifies real market signals from social media and forums, analyzes competitor gaps, and creates actionable validation roadmaps—compressing months of customer discovery into minutes.

How we built it

Built with React/Next.js frontend and integrated Claude AI for intelligent analysis. Used Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development and structured prompts to generate realistic ICPs, market signals, and validation strategies.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing realistic mock data with compelling demos, creating prompts that generate genuinely useful customer insights, and designing an interface that feels professional enough for serious founders to trust.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Created a tool that actually solves the #1 startup problem with an intuitive interface that any founder can use immediately. The ICP generation feels magical and the validation roadmaps are genuinely actionable.

What we learned

Customer discovery is still mostly manual and painful for founders. There's huge potential for AI to synthesize market research and surface insights that would take humans weeks to uncover.

What's next for ICPFinder

Real data integration with social APIs, automated customer interview scheduling, integration with survey tools, and expansion into product-market fit tracking and go-to-market strategy optimization.
