The idea is to provide useful information, tools about health concerns, specially about corona virus that affected communities, as well as engage in rehabilitation and other health risk.

Inspiration

After the outbreak of coronavirus, the need of trusted information in order to avoid unnecessary alarms or confusions and to know the necessary and right information. It can be scary to hear fake news about COVID 19, but learning the facts can help easy the mind. Not having the right information can be scary. It is important the fact about what to know, how it spreads, the symptoms, prevention treatment, stigmas and resilience are necessary to avoid fear, panic and spread of virus. If every one would know what to do in the right time and the right moment, ti would avoid many complication in each instance, fear, panic and spread the "virus" of misinformation.

What it does

The chatbot does give you the lates information from DCD (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) from general information, steps to prevent Illness, what to do if you are sick, simulation test if you have allergies or sessional flu or corona virus symptoms, find the near doctor or local health department if you feel that you get a virus, send a report to local authorities for any suspicious of corona virus, subscription to get daily update on important information of corona virus from CDC. This tool can help to connect with professionals and get the right information from CDC.

How I built it

I used Chatfuel a platform to crate a chat flow and Facebook Massager to interact with the chatbot.

There is a tool that you can trust the right information and that can help communities to void misconceptions. Implement simple codes to create a power tool. That there can be simple tools that can empower communities.

What I learned

I have learned that can we create simple tools that can change communities and who knows, save lives. The importance to know the right information and what to do with it.

What's next for First Response Health

Create apps in iOS and Android, send push notification for updates and important information. Create more features that the user know the right information and the right time. Connect video chat with a doctor or professional to do a screen test.
