My team and I designed and built the First Home Saver app in just three weeks, and we created the animated video too.
I was super excited when I saw the Devpost Hack to the Future challenge on November 14th. I had the concept for the app for a while, but didn't know how to integrate the bank functionality. The open APIs from Finastra were like rays of sunlight streaming down from the clouds!
So our whole team got to work. Katie designed the UI and made mockups of the screens in Photoshop. I researched and created the content. Matt wrote the programming in JavaScript and integrated the APIs. I wrote the script for the video, Warren did the animation, and we found the voice-over talent on Fivrr. It came together like clockwork.
Next up, we will be doing the full iOS development in Xcode. Stay tuned!
