The fire-fighting robot is a Bluetooth-controlled system designed to autonomously detect and extinguish fires. The robot uses an Arduino UNO as the central control unit, integrated with a Flame Sensor for fire detection and an MLX 90614 sensor for measuring ambient temperature. Mobility is achieved using BO motors controlled by an L298 motor driver, while a 5V relay module governs the actuation of fire suppression mechanisms. A servo motor (SG90) is utilized for directional control of the extinguishing system. Power is supplied by a 18650 battery, ensuring portability and endurance during operation. The robot communicates with the user through Bluetooth (HC-05), enabling remote control and realtime monitoring via a mobile device. Additionally, the system is equipped with a WiFi module for future integration into IoT platforms for remote tracking and data analysis. The overall design is compact and efficient, aiming to aid in fire prevention and safety in constrained environments. When the flame sensor detects fire, the Arduino UNO processes the signal and commands the robot to move towards the fire source using the BO motors controlled by the L298 motor driver. Concurrently, the MLX 90614 temperature sensor measures the surrounding temperature to validate the presence of a fire. Upon confirming fire detection, the Arduino activates the relay module, which could trigger an extinguishing mechanism like a water pump or fan. The servo motor ensures precise aiming of the extinguishing medium, directed toward the detected flame. The robot’s movements and fireextinguishing actions can also be manually controlled via Bluetooth through an app or controller, giving users the flexibility to operate the robot remotely. The system’s integration with WiFi allows for future advancements, such as real-time notifications and remote control via the internet. This fire-fighting robot is intended for applications in confined spaces where human intervention may be dangerous, such as small rooms, laboratories, or warehouses. It can provide an early response to fires, reducing the risk of fire spread and minimizing potential damage.
