Inspiration

Amidst COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, a common phenomenon of misinformation spread has become prevalent on social media. Mass awareness broadcasting offline tools that are currently available do not address the requirement of accurately tracking user data who have performed necessary steps to make the awareness efforts successful.

What it does

Firebolt is a mass awareness tool through which only short, concise and accurate information can be distributed to the public.

How I built it

Firebolt runs on 3 step awareness process.

1. Send COVD-19 awareness SMS through Firebolt
2. Make them visit updated information link in the SMS
3. Upon successfully receiving accurate and updated information, users are asked to share information link to their contacts on Whatsapp and Social Media
4. Campaign will result in organic growth with in immediate circle of broadcasted contacts

Challenges I ran into

Making 3 step campaign process pushed through Firebolt organically grow.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Great results from small scale test campaign.

What I learned

A lot of experimentation to arrive at one point where campaign launched through Firebolt can gain momentum and sustain its growth organically.

Scalability across the world to accelerate the pace of authentic information sharing.
