🚀 Inspiration

Traditional large-screen TV viewing is a passive "lean-back" experience. Users often struggle to navigate long educational tutorials, developer keynotes, or deep-dive videos using a standard Fire TV remote control. FireAI ViewNavigator transforms this experience by turning long video sessions into an interactive, cognitive, and highly navigable dashboard optimized for Amazon Fire TV.

📺 What it does

FireAI ViewNavigator is a next-generation AI video assistant designed for Fire TV interfaces. When a user inputs a video URL, the AI immediately extracts an Executive Summary and structures the entire timeline into clickable, high-value smart timestamps. Users can seamlessly jump to specific chapters (e.g., Architecture, Live Demos) with minimal remote clicks, eliminating the frustration of manual scrubbing.

🛠️ How we built it

The prototype is built using web technologies optimized for smart TV viewports:

  • Frontend Architecture: HTML5, CSS3 (Custom Glassmorphism Theme styled for premium Fire TV UI), and JavaScript.
  • Component Simulation: A native Fire TV video player and tracking layer simulated to demonstrate dynamic timeline updates when picking remote-based AI anchors.

🎯 Value to the Amazon Ecosystem

This project fits perfectly into the Amazon Fire TV Track by showcasing how ambient AI can enrich the screen time of developers and students. It increases engagement metrics, reduces bandwidth wastage from blind scrubbing, and creates a highly intuitive navigation layer for large-screen hardware.
