Inspiration
We got inspired by the tragedy of the LA fires.
What it does
The user inputs the latitude, longitude, month, and day and our website outputs the potential fire levels of it.
How we built it
We built it on VS code using Python and HTML.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we experienced were training the modeling and limiting the locations that are viable to only California.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to get the model to run with a 85% accuracy.
What we learned
We learned how to train a model, limit boundaries on a map, and making a website that extends to multiple tabs.
What's next for Fire level prediction in California
We will scale the project to more states and eventually, the entire country.
