🧠 Inspiration

I run a company that does performance marketing, where tracking spending and revenue across multiple platforms is part of daily life. But managing finances, income, expenses, platform spend, ROI, and employee performance, was becoming a nightmare.

We had client money coming in, platform costs going out, and dozens of tools and sheets just to answer simple questions like:

  • Are we profitable?
  • Who’s our top performer this month?
  • How much did we spend on Facebook ads last week?
  • Where exactly is the money going?

It was messy, slow, and stressful.

So I decided to build Fintracker A simple but powerful financial management dashboard for digital businesses. Whether you're running ads, selling services, or managing teams, Fintracker helps you track what matters , all in one clean interface.

🚀 What It Does

Fintracker helps digital businesses:

  • Track income by source, category, and employee
  • Log all types of expenses (tools, salaries, snacks, bonuses, etc.)
  • Visualize profit, ROI, and growth with clean analytics
  • Monitor spending across platforms like Facebook, Google, etc.
  • Manage physical and digital assets
  • See top-performing employees by revenue contribution
  • Export reports for deeper analysis

🧱 Challenges We Ran Into

  • Making everything dynamic without overcomplicating the UX
  • Designing features like employee performance tracking and asset management to be future-proof
  • Building everything quickly while keeping it clean and branded
  • Handling visual consistency between marketing pages and the main dashboard

🏆 Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

  • Built a fullstack dashboard with live charts, analytics, and modular design, all in Bolt
  • Created a beautiful, judge-friendly demo without real authentication
  • Integrated clean UI/UX with dynamic financial features
  • Kept the entire project future-ready, easy to scale, extend, and secure later

📚 What We Learned

  • Less is more, simple UX takes effort, but it pays off
  • Zustand + MongoDB + Bolt is a killer combo for speed
  • Good UI matters. Judges and users both respond to clarity and design
