Inspiration
Being a broke college student, I wish I had more control over my cash flow without having to spend more money to keep track of my money through apps or webpages.
What it does
FinSight's mission is to provide anyone from anywhere access to see how and where their money is going.
How we built it
I built this project using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
Challenges we ran into
I have never dabbled with backend before, so unfortunately, I could not get the AI assistant to work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud that I came into this hackathon ready to tackle this mission on my own. However, I still feel like this could've been so much more if I had been able to make it truly work.
What we learned
I learned that I need to improve my backend skills so that I can build full-stack software capable of changing the world.
What's next for FinSight
Integrate an AI assistant that stimulates a conversation as if it were your very own financial advisor!
