Inspiration
I got this idea because online payments are now a part of everyday life, but many people still struggle to identify fake payment messages and online scams. I wanted to build something that could help people understand these risks in a simple way.
What it does
FinShield AI helps users check suspicious payment messages. It looks for possible warning signs, explains why a message might be suspicious, and gives basic safety tips.
How we built it
We are building this project using Python and AI tools. The idea is to create a simple platform where users can enter a message and get an easy-to-understand analysis.
Challenges we ran into
As this is our first version, one challenge is making the results clear and useful. We also need to make sure the tool does not label every unusual message as a scam.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we came up with an idea that connects AI with an everyday problem. We also see this project as a chance to turn what we are learning into something useful.
What we learned
We are learning how AI can be used in financial safety, how to work with Python, and how to turn an idea into a working project.
What's next for FinShield AI
We want to improve the analysis, add more examples of common payment scams, make the interface better, and provide clearer safety suggestions for users.
