Finnow

Inspiration

We were inspired by the power of LLMS have with communicating with people. Financial literacy is something many Americans need to work on and Finnow can help solve that problem.

What it does

Finnow utilizes an LLM that gives users advice based on their inputted financial data, making recommendations on savings, investments, income, and expenditures. The goal of our platform is to support financial literacy and lower the barrier of entry into the financial world.

How we built it

We used React and Chakra UI for the frontend, utilizing a minimalistic design philosophy we incorporated our passion into making Finnow what it is today.

Challenges we ran into

Creating Finnow was not an easy task, we had some difficulties with finding the best way to integrate an LLM to our frontend. Furthermore, choosing the right model for our specific use case also took some time as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're especially proud of our page designs and animations. We put in a lot of work into the art and layout of the site, and we hope it shows!

What we learned

We learned a lot during this hackathon, from brushing up our frontend skills to learning how to use a LLM. Finnow is truly something we are proud of.

What's next for Finnow

We plan on taking Finnow to the next step and are considering on developing it further. The potential Finnow has can truly help lower the barrier of entry into the financial world.
