We wanted to make financial literacy fun and accessible because many people struggle to learn how to manage money effectively.

What It Does

FinLife is a game that teaches people how to make smart financial decisions. Players navigate life by budgeting, saving, and investing, learning the consequences of their choices through challenges and mini-games.

How We Built It

Challenges we ran into

We had some issues simplifying financial concepts without losing their value. Also, we ran into some errors when trying to coordinate tasks across the team. We also had trouble finding the correct prompts to input into the AI to get the result we wanted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating the financial advisor chatbot. We are also proud of the aesthetics on the front-end.

What we learned

We learned how to prompt AIs with maximum efficiency in order to create websites. We learned how to connect a back-end to a front-end with the APIs that come with it.
