Inspiration
We wanted to create a fast easy tool to help College students find career opportunities
What it does
This is a website that scrapes publicly available websites for Career/Networking events on campus
How we built it
We worked on the frontend and the backend simultaneously, and after we finished both, we worked on the scraper and setting up a database.
Challenges we ran into
We had a few errors like mismatched types between the backend and the frontend as well as numerous error with our scraper like formatting. We eventually resolved all issues.

The website works as intended
What we learned
We learned React, Flask, Scraping, as well as frontend & backend integraition.
What's next for Finish Line
We can continue to work on the scraper, add more features to the website like a filter, and make the frontend display look better.
