FinIQ is an innovative personal finance application that draws on your own reflection and perception. By using the app, you will learn about managing different financial goals with greater ease.

Managing your money is not at all difficult. It is an important skill just like anything else and needs to be handled with care. That is why we have come up with the Personal Finance Academy which will help you learn the basics of Personal Finance and help you improve your financial health in a systematic way. You need to know how different factors affect your finances, what are the psychological aspects of personal finance and how to manage them. We promise that our guide will show you that managing your finances need not be complicated and time taking if one follows certain standard processes and strategies.

FinIQ is a fin-ed mobile application that allows you to set financial goals for yourself, track your spending, earn rewards, and learn about personal finance. FinIQ takes the difficulty out of managing your money and uses a 21st-century approach to your finances.

FinIQ is a fin-ed-based mobile application that can teach you about money and finances in a practical way. You can set practical finance goals for yourself and learn while achieving them. Our shared learning experience helps you build a strong financial future while staying on track to reach your goals.

Our Venture product is designed to give customers the best chance of success. With cool features like Goal Streaks and News Feed, we are revolutionizing the way the world does business.

How we built it

• We created the mobile application for streaming. We used the Flutter framework and designed it on Figma.

• It consists of Learning and Goal Tracker APIs built with Flask and Cosmos DB.

• The learning track has a voice-based feature too built with Azure text-to-speech cognitive services.

• Our Budget Diary is a must-have app for anyone who wants to keep track of their expenses. This app helps you to record all your daily expenses into major categories which can be visualized over time. Budget Diary also allows you to forecast your future expenses based on data from the past.

• These recorded expenses aid in managing your financial goals in the app.

• The rewards-based learning system unlocks more learning paths for you as you complete your goal.

Challenges we ran into

Building this project in such a short time was quite a challenge. Building logic for the whole reward-based learning was not easy. Yet we were able to pull it off. Integrating APIs by using proper data/error handling and maintaining the sleek UI along with great performance was a tricky task. Making reusable/extractable snippets of Widgets helped a lot to overcome this challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the efforts that we put in and pulled off the entire application within 1.5 days. Only from an idea to building an entire beautiful application is more than enough to make us feel content. The whole Learning Track we made is the charm of the application.

What's next for FinIQ

FinIQ would have a lot of other things in the future. Our first agenda would be to build a community feature for the students on our app. Building a learning community is gonna give it an edge.
