Inspiration
We were inspired by the accumulation of student loan debts which increases day by day. The ShellHacks team and JP Morgan helped is too. 😁
What it does
Finhub is an online web service which helps students save their money. It helps them track their monthly income, expenditure and also helps them prepare a budget. It's basically a fintech 😁
How we built it
We built this website with various technology stacks. E.h HTML5, Css3, JavaScript and Python. The project is not complete yet but we hope to finish it soon in the future.
Challenges we ran into
2 of our teammates ditched us and the lack of time too made this project a tough one.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
But despite all of these, we were able to finish our website on time. It's fully functional and the user experience is smoooth 😎
What we learned
We are people with very little knowledge in some technology stacks here but this project made us research more about these stacks and now, we are very proficient in them.
What's next for Finhub
We hope to finish it up and look for sponsors to help us publish it to the whole world!! We want to help students have peace of mind without worrying about their debts.
