Inspiration

Managing money can feel overwhelming, especially for students and young professionals. We wanted to create a tool that doesn’t just track spending but also guides smarter habits through AI.

What it does

Finexa tracks income and expenses, highlights spending patterns, and provides personalized AI savings tips. It recommends investments based on age and risk tolerance while keeping users notified about bills, goals, and unusual expenses.

How we built it

We designed Finexa with a clean sidebar layout for intuitive navigation. The backend integrates finance APIs and AI models to analyze habits, while the frontend (React + Tailwind) delivers a modern, responsive UI. Data is securely stored with cloud databases.

What's next for Finexa

We plan to add bank/mobile money integrations, an AI chatbot for financial coaching, investment simulators, and gamified saving challenges. Our long-term vision is to make Finexa the go-to financial coach for students, workers, and everyday people striving for smarter money habits.
