Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from the perspective of solving real-world problems. We strive for our work to be helpful not only to the average person but also to those with big decisions.

What it does

FinePrint is an extension that scans your webpage for TAC, Privacy Policies, and other legal jargon that nobody actually reads, and summarizes it into a reader-friendly format while preserving the contract's importance and risks.

How we built it

We started by breaking down the problem, then assigning roles to ourselves. We then started our research then moved on to diagramming. From this, we developed a pipeline and began our programming with testing sessions in between.

Challenges we ran into

Remaking our UI was a major stepping stone that took up a significant chunk of our time. Coding and refining to make it as friendly on the eyes as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our UI, functionality, and legal document skimming.

What we learned

We learned some communication skills, participated in a cybersecurity-oriented challenge, through which we could use some of the tools learned to help develop our extension further (Dev Tools).
