paying fines is time taking and includes potential risks of phishing and lacks transparency
What it does
our project aims to revolutionize the penalty payment system by using blockchain technology to eliminate intermediaries and reduce downtime and phishing risks. With this system, users will be able to pay their penalties directly to the government organization via blockchain, streamlining the payment process and reducing the risk of fraud and phishing. The system will be built on ethereum, integrated with 5ire and cross chain enabled using Dojima
How we built it
we used solidity to build smart contracts on 5ire IDE which was super easy to implement upon, compared to remix, dojima was essential for cross chain transactions as to transfer crypto from one network to another wouldnt be possible without integrating with Dojima , used 5ire to deploy smart contracts and hosted our applcation on Godaddy.
Challenges we ran into
integating smart contract with wagmi and ether.js It would've been easier if 5ire would've made the sdk for integrating frontend with the smart contract.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
smooth transactions using 5ire and metamask, having a transparent smart contract and cross chain transfer feasible with the help of dojima
What we learned
This is our first blockchain project, so we had to learn everything from scratch and build on top of these networks.
