Inspiration

Local artists often struggle to gain visibility, promote their events, and build a loyal audience. Many lack the right platform to sell tickets, reach a global audience, and grow their careers. We wanted to bridge this gap by creating a community-driven event marketplace that empowers artists while making it easier for users to discover gigs they love.

What It Does

FindYourGig is a comprehensive event platform that allows: 🎭 Artists to create and promote events, sell tickets, and grow their brand. 🎟️ Users to explore gigs, book tickets, and receive AI-powered recommendations tailored to their interests. 🤝 A thriving community where artists and audiences connect to support local talent.

How We Built It

🔹 Frontend: ReactJS for a seamless and dynamic user experience. 🔹 Backend: Java Spring Boot for a robust and scalable API. 🔹 Database: MongoDB for flexible and efficient data storage. 🔹 Machine Learning: AI-powered recommendation system to personalize event discovery. 🔹 Payments & Ticketing: Secure system to facilitate bookings and artist revenue.

Challenges We Ran Into
